Kinsman notch to pinkam gorge – 2026-09-04

Conditions:
It was wet and cloudy pretty much my whole hike. Made good time in the morning but once I slipped on a couple roots my pace slowed a little. I recommend stepping on wet rocks over wet roots as the roots provide no grip. I also recommend doing the climb when you can see the view at the top otherwise it is a bit lame.

Trail Maintenance:
There were a few old blowdowns but no way for trail crews to easily get up there so just some clambering.
