Cloudland Falls – 2026-07-01

Conditions:
Muddy but manageable, it rained last night but the water was still low enough to cross without submerging boots. It was hot but not intolerable (for me). There was a nice breeze at times and the air coming from the waterfalls was very cooling.

Trail Maintenance:
Personally, I felt like the blue blazes should be redone, they were pretty faded. It was still relatively easy to spot them on the way up, but hard to see any on the way done. I mostly had to depend on the trail being well-traveled.
